And as promised, another blog entry on Friday @ 12:00 p.m. sharp!
I have to be honest, if there is one piece of advice I could give to any new bloggers, it's to form a schedule! I can't even tell you how much more productive I feel knowing that I have a specific date at which I have to upload. And the best bit: I actually look forward to meeting this "deadline"!
So two nights ago, I had this brilliant idea (well, brilliant in my eyes)! Here comes another honesty moment: I'm a Uni student, so spending big bucks on items is not something I can afford to do at the moment (unfortunately). So instead of buying pieces in bulk from shops for much $$$, I'm going to approach fashion-style posts (and videos on my YT channel) in a new way: Whenever I buy a piece of clothing, I'm going to use that as the centrepiece for styling complete outfits (five in total). Does that make any sense? Take this outfit as example numero one. I purchased this mauve, sweater dress from Marshalls the other day. The quality is super soft, stretchy, and quite thick, so wearing it while it's still winter works. Though it's considered a sweater dress, I still bought it in a size medium so it's roomier. If I had to choose to wear one piece of clothing for the rest of my life, it would for sure be sweater dresses; they are SO versatile!*BTW: I will show you ways to style a sweater dress both casually and formally in my video coming next week. I chose to create a more formal outfit for this post, so I opted for wrap-sandal heels and coincidentally, a Marshalls purchased denim-jacket-dress. The combination of the dress and heels created a monochromatic look, but I spiced it up with the denim jacket.
And may I add that because it's only the beginning of February, I was freezing my butt off throughout the entire photoshoot!!! Just FYI. LOL! XD
I hope you enjoyed this post! Have a great weekend! Till next Friday!
